A visit to Warm Springs in November and December will surely put you in the holiday mood! CANDLELIGHT IN WARM SPRINGS begins the Friday before Thanksgiving and runs through Christmas Eve. There’s front-door parking and warm friendly faces to greet you as the sounds of Christmas drift throughout town. Shops and restaurants are open all during the week and many feature extended hours on weekends.
The opening festivities are held the Friday and Saturday before Thanksgiving.
The Candlelight tradition began back in 1983 during a major renovation of Warm Springs when one shop owner rolled a piano onto the sidewalk. Customers were invited to share in the playing and singing of traditional Christmas carols. As nighttime approached, the sidewalks were lighted with candles and the music continued for hours.
Come experience the warmth of Warm Springs…Warm hands…Warm hearts…Warm people…Warm Springs, Georgia!
